KCCC name change continues unification

Early this year, the Kansas City Cancer Centers (KCCC) were rebranded The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

The change reflects the ongoing unification of the community centers with the Westwood and main campuses – all part of the same cancer program branded as The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

KCCC became part of the cancer center in June 2011. The rebranding process, which will span several months, ranges from new patient forms and marketing materials to logos on staff ID badges and facility signage.

For the community cancer centers, National Cancer Institute designation means opportunities for more levels of clinical trials, leading-edge technology and an array of supportive oncology services and programs.
