ArtBra KC 2013

ArtBra KC celebrates the bra as an empowering symbol of triumph over breast cancer. During the event dozens of work-of-Art Bras will be auctioned to benefit the Missys' Boutique® Patients in Need Fund. These one-of-a-kind Art Bras will be designed and created by family and friends of survivors, local artists, celebrities and volunteers. Fashion show models are breast cancer survivors and patients. Treads & Threads

Under the stars and inside the oval at Kansas Speedway, The University of Kansas Hospital's annual black-tie gala to benefit cancer patient care draws crowds of more than 3,000 partygoers. The full-throttle Treads & Threads experience includes a gourmet feast from area restaurants and caterers, a concert by a headline entertainer, spectacular fireworks and a dance floor that’s packed ‘til midnight! Pink Fountains

To recognize October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain and many others throughout the area will turn pink from the end of September through the first week of October. Learn more.
