Darrin Kistler, Director of Radiation Services, The University of Kansas Cancer Center

Darrin Kistler has been with The University of Kansas Cancer Center since 2011. He served as director of radiation services for the Kansas City Cancer Center starting in 2005 and continued in that role when KCCC merged with The University of Kansas Cancer Center in 2011. 

 Kistler earned a bachelor’s degree in health services management from Ottawa University and a master’s in business administration from Webster University. He completed certification at the School of Radiation Therapy Technology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He has worked in radiation oncology since 1987, and has more than 25 years of management experience in the field. 

He is certified as a registered radiation therapist and a registered radiologic technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. He is a member of the Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators and the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
