Services and Amenities

There are a number of conveniences available to you during your visit at The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion:

  • Free wireless Internet service throughout the building.
  • Volunteers distribute complimentary coffee, sodas, juices and water throughout waiting rooms on a regular basis.
  • The Parkway Café in the Westwood Atrium, open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, offers meals, snacks and beverages.
  • An ATM, microwaves and vending machines are available just outside the café.
  • Book carts, located on Levels 2 and 3, have a variety of paperback books free for you to borrow.
  • Crossword, sudoku and word search puzzles are available in the waiting rooms.
  • The Brandmeyer Patient Resource Center on Level 2 features free cancer-related information and computer terminals with free Internet access.
  • The Garden of Infinite Possibilities between the lobby and the café is a lovely spot for reflection and quiet conversation.
  • Pagers are available at the information desk so you may visit nearby Fairway shops and restaurants across the street. The pagers’ range extends throughout the building and inside all of the Fairway businesses.
  • Missy’s Boutique, on Level 2, is an appearance center with retail items designed specifically for cancer patients. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
  • Social worker and dietitian services are available to all patients at no charge.
  • Patients, families and caregivers can attend free monthly support groups organized by the Brandmeyer Patient Resource Center. The center also provides information on support groups sponsored by community organizations.
  • Garage parking at the cancer care pavilion is free, and complimentary shuttle transportation is available to and from the hospital. The first three levels of our parking garage, P2 (orange level), P3 (green level) and P4 (blue level) are reserved for patient parking. Additional parking is on P5 (rooftop).
  • As we transition to our new partnership with Kansas City Cancer Center, we understand patients of Kansas City Cancer Center may have some questions regarding changes in the billing process.
