KU Cancer Center highlights from AACR Annual Meeting

The AACR’s annual meeting program covers the latest discoveries across the spectrum of cancer research and highlights advancements in research and medicine from institutions all over the world. Like many conferences this year, the AACR meeting was held virtually. It was also divided into two sessions; the first meeting was held April 22-24 and the second meeting was held June 22-24.

The meeting featured a variety of sessions including a Clinical Plenary session, led by Weijing Sun, MD, director of Medical Oncology. Cancer center researchers shared findings from their work, which spans basic, translational and clinical research. Select presentations from the meeting are listed below.
