Funds Benefiting Missys' Boutique

Since the beginning, Missys' Boutique has offered assistance to eligible uninsured and underinsured cancer patients. Through the Missys' Boutique Patients in Need Fund, patients receive appearance center-related products and services such as wigs, breast forms, postsurgery bras and camisoles at no cost.

Learn if you are eligible

There are several ways to receive an application to request assistance through the Patients in Need Fund:

  • Request an application at the boutique.
  • Call 913-945-5800 to have an application mailed to you.

Complete the application and mail as directed. We will contact you after your application is processed.

Make an appointment

We require appointments for all fittings. Call 913-588-0130, and choose option 1. The facility is Medicare-approved.

Bra Couture KC

Bra Couture KC, formerly ArtBra KC, is a major benefactor of the boutique's Patients in Need Fund, contributing more than $183,600 since 2011. A unique and fun auction event held each spring, Bra Couture KC showcases eclectic works-of-art bras modeled by breast cancer survivors to celebrate their triumph over cancer. The fundraiser ensures Missys' Boutique's cancer-related products and services are available at no cost to eligible uninsured and underinsured cancer patients. Bra Couture KC was founded in 2011 by breast cancer survivor Sharon Butler Payne as a tribute to breast cancer survivors' fighting spirit.

Missys' Boutique Fund

Missys' Boutique was established with contributions from generous donors. The Missys' Boutique Fund helps cover costs of staffing and operations.These include sponsors and patrons of Treads & Threads, The University of Kansas Health System's annual gala to benefit patient care at The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

From Brownie Scouts to corporate giants, donors continue to support Missys' Boutique in its mission to help patients through their cancer journeys with spirit and style.
