Membership and Grants

Researcher in lab.

At The University of Kansas Cancer Center, we aim to provide the optimal environment for basic, translational, clinical and population-based research in oncology. We do this by developing and fostering a collaborative, collegial and dynamic culture of scientific inquiry supported by nationally recognized cancer research programs and investigator-focused, customer-friendly shared resources utilizing the latest technology.

Researchers and clinicians associated with the University of Kansas, the University of Kansas Medical Center, consortium partners and affiliated organizations are eligible to be considered for cancer center membership. All areas of cancer research are encouraged.

In addition, The University of Kansas Cancer Center continually aims to create and grow a culture of cancer-centeredness for our members. Cancer center members have access to a dedicated Grants Development Office, which administers grant support as well as members-only pilot funds.
