The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion

Specially designed for outpatients, the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion provides chemotherapy and radiation therapy to adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer.

This introductory video tour includes information about parking, what to expect at your first appointment, and details about the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion.

The pavilion is where you'll meet with your physician before your initial treatment. You'll be able to receive your treatment, come for checkups and see your physician in an atmosphere of comfort, convenience and privacy. We’re located at the northeast corner of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Belinder Road. Complimentary valet parking is available for all patients.

 Saturday: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
 Sunday: 8 a.m.-noon

A Healing Environment

Patients and their families will experience a soothing, healing environment. Spacious concourses make way-finding easy, and areas throughout the facility offer space for quiet conversation and contemplation. Family and visitor lounges are located on Level 3 of the facility.

For comfort and convenience, the facility has 39 treatment rooms equipped with flat-screen televisions, DVD players and pillow speakers. Sound-masking systems, soft lighting and spa-like color schemes help create a warm, relaxing atmosphere.

Missys' Boutique® is an accredited appearance center and retail space featuring in-style wigs, hats and turbans; mastectomy garments; accessories; gifts; private room for mastectomy prosthesis fittings; and salon area.

The Brandmeyer Patient Resource Center offers patients, families and visitors free information about specific types of cancer, treatments, clinical trials and other cancer-related issues, and is staffed by an experienced oncology nurse.

Westwood ParkingParking
The parking garage entrance is just off Belinder Road. The first two levels of our parking garage, P2 (orange level) and P3 (green level), are reserved for patient parking. Additional parking is on P5. All garage parking is complimentary.

To enter the cancer center from the parking garage, take the elevator to Level 2, which is the main level. Visit the Information Desk in the west end of the lobby for directions to your appointment. If you would like wheelchair assistance from the garage, call us at 913.945.5713 or 913.945.5712 and we will arrange to meet you at your car once you’ve parked in the garage.

Handicapped parking spaces are available on the west side of the pavilion. The lane at the west side of the building is for dropping off and picking up patients only.

Valet parking is available at the front entrance of the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion, accessible off Belinder Road. Complimentary valet parking is available Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Each of the three levels of the cancer care pavilion are planned to accommodate patient needs.

Level 1
Partially below ground, this floor houses Breast Cancer Prevention, Breast Cancer Survivorship, Breast Imaging, exam suites and medical records.

Level 2
Includes the main patient entrance, volunteer office, information desk, patient exam rooms, patient registration area, Missys’ Boutique appearance center and the Brandmeyer Patient Resource Center.

Level 3
Features patient treatment rooms, Blood and Marrow Transplant, pharmacy, laboratory and family lounge.
