My research is primarily focused on the development of ex vivo and in vivo models to study the normal tissue toxicity as a radiation side effects. We are currently pursuing a project to develop stem and stromal cell based therapies to reduce radiation toxicity in intestine and lung, thus allowing improvements in abdominal and thoracic radiotherapy.
