Julia White Joins AACI PCLI Steering Committee

The committee helps guide the activities of the AACI’s Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative.

Julia White, MD, Hall Family Foundation Professor in Clinical Science and Vice Chair of clinical operations in the Department of Radiation Oncology, has been appointed to the AACI’s Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative (PCLI) steering committee. The PCLI steering committee helps guide the activities of the initiative, as well as identify barriers and challenges where AACI cancer center clinical leaders can share best practices. Dr. White’s three-year term began February 2023.

“I am excited to participate in advancing the efforts of this great organization of cancer centers to promote excellence in clinic care and quality programs,” Dr. White said.

In addition to her new role on the PCLI steering committee, Dr. White serves as vice chair for the NRG Oncology Breast Cancer Committee and is a member of the Breast Cancer Steering Committee at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She is on the committee for the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation and ASCO Education Committee and serves as section editor for the ASTRO journal, Practical Radiation Oncology.
