New ads showcase program's unique features

The University of Kansas Cancer Center has launched a new community awareness campaign with the theme "If it's cancer, why would you go anywhere else?"

"This campaign provides information that is important for consumers to know when choosing a cancer care program," said Julie Amor, vice president, Marketing and Corporate Communications at The University of Kansas Hospital. "The unique care and treatment options highlighted are only available at The University of Kansas Cancer Center."

Those attributes include:

  • As a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center, we offer all phases of clinical trials as part of patients' care plans.
  • We are the only regional cancer center to earn a ranking from U.S. News & World Report as a leading cancer center.
  • Our renowned oncologists and surgeons collaborate with a variety of academic experts to develop a personalized, customized treatment plan.
  • A dedicated nurse navigator will guide patients' plan of care beginning with their first call.
  • With multiple locations throughout the Kansas City area, we make a second opinion – or ongoing treatment – convenient.

Look for ads in direct mail and local and regional publications throughout the spring.
