About Me
Andres M. Bur, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Director of Robotic and Minimally Invasive Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Bur received his medical degree (2007-2011) and completed residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (2011-2016) at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Following residency, he completed his fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in 2017.
Dr. Bur is board certified in Otolaryngology and holds membership in the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery . He is a member of the Quality and Value and the Young Members Service of the American Head and Neck Society. His areas of clinical expertise include head and neck cancer surgery, transoral robotic surgery, microvascular head and neck reconstruction and thyroid surgery.
