Jesus Gonzalez Lugo, M.D.

Dr. Gonzalez Lugo completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He proceeded to complete his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he also served as chief fellow. He is the principal investigator for multiple ongoing studies focused on higher-risk MDS and Acute Myeloid Leukemias. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the ASH Abstract Achievement Award, SOHO Young Investigator Award, the European Hematology Association Young Investigator Travel Grant, and most recently the Robert A. Winn Excellence in Clinical Trials Career Development Award.

His clinical and research interests include Myelodysplastic Syndromes, CMML, VEXAS Syndrome and Acute Leukemias.
