Modified Hours for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Kansas City, Kan. — The University of Kansas Cancer Center community sites will close for provider visits Monday, Jan. 17, with these exceptions: BMT clinic and treatment, Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion treatment and the Richard and Annette Bloch Radiation Oncology Pavilion, which will all be open for limited hours. Call 913-588-7750 to reach a physician on call.

Our call center answering 913-588-1227 will be closed Monday, Jan. 17. To request an appointment on Monday, you may self-schedule select visits in MyChart or fill out the request an appointment form. Any voicemails received will be returned during normal business hours on Tuesday. Wait times may be longer than usual due to exceptionally high demand at this time.

Other areas of care impacted

  • All care provider offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 17. Patient portal messages in MyChart and office staff voicemail will be returned during normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

  • Urgent care locations will have modified hours on Monday, Jan. 17. Learn more about open locations, hours and wait times.

  • Outpatient radiology services will be closed Monday, Jan. 17. This does not impact inpatient and urgent care radiology needs.

  • All walk-in outpatient labs are closed Monday, Jan. 17.

  • Pharmacy will have modified hours on Monday, Jan. 17:

    • Cambridge Tower A – 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    • Main Hospital – 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    • Southlake Business Park – 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    • Westwood Campus and Indian Creek Campus – Closed

The health system’s hospitals, Emergency Department and other inpatient services do not close during holidays.
