Prakash Neupane, MBBS, FASCO, professor of Medical Oncology, was named a fellow of the American Society of Oncology (ASCO). The FASCO designation honors members for their volunteer service, engagement and commitment to the organization. ASCO represents more than 50,000 cancer professionals across the world.
Dr. Neupane is a medical oncologist specializing in head and neck and thoracic cancers. He serves as director of the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program and co-chair of the Head and Neck Disease Working Group. His clinical research focuses on innovative therapies for head and neck cancers, including immune-altering approaches and novel cell therapies. Dr. Neupane has been an active member of ASCO since 1998.
