As director of nursing for The University of Kansas Cancer Center, Glennon is responsible for nursing, technical and clerical staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Since 2007, she has been an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Kansas School of Nursing.

She earned her Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in Health Science from Wichita (Kan.) State University. She is an oncology-certified nurse and a board-certified nurse administrator. Before coming to The University of Kansas Cancer Center, she was a clinical specialist in the Department of Advanced Practice Nursing at Duke University.

Glennon serves as treasurer for the Kansas City chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society, vice president of patient services for the Mid-America chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and chair of the appeals committee for the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Nursing Administration Content Expert Panel. She is a member of The University of Kansas Cancer Center Continuing Education Committee, the University of Kansas School of Nursing Research Committee and the Department of Nursing Research Committee.
