Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

Kansas City, Kan. – In recognition of the upcoming Thanksgiving Day holiday, some of The University of Kansas Health System’s offices will have modified hours on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center

• The University of Kansas Cancer Center will be closed for exam visits Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, with these exceptions:
• Limited hours for scheduled BMT clinic and treatment at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood
• Limited hours for scheduled treatments at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood
• Radiation oncology sites will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, unless emergency treatments are required.

Doctor office hours

• All doctor offices will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28. Our staff will support routine scheduling needs and answer routine MyChart messages when normal business hours resume.

Outpatient imaging

• All outpatient imaging locations will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28.

Pharmacy hours

• Our retail pharmacy locations on the 39th and Rainbow campus in Kansas City inside Bell Hospital Tower and Cambridge Tower A will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, November 27, through Sunday, November 30.
• Southlake Business Park pharmacy in Lenexa will be closed Thursday, November 27, through Saturday, November 29, and open Sunday, November 30, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Our Westwood Campus and Indian Creek Campus pharmacy locations will be closed Thursday, November 27, through Sunday, November 30.

Urgent care hours

• Several urgent care locations will be open Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28. View locations, hours and wait times.
• You may also consider an Urgent Care Video Visit, which you can set up from the main menu in MyChart.

Walk-in lab hours

• Our walk-in lab locations will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28. Our lab locations at the Medical Pavilion at 39th and Rainbow and at Indian Creek Campus in Overland Park will offer their normal weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Walk-in orthopedic clinic

• Our orthopedic walk-in care office at I-435 and Nall will close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, and will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, reopening on Saturday, November 29.

Great Bend, Kansas, locations

• All doctor offices in Great Bend will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28.
• Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic at St. Rose Medical Pavilion will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 28 through November 30.
• No inpatient services will be affected by the holiday.
